Mr. Pires, a business administrator, is a senior professional with more than 30 years of experience in feasibility studies and project implementation. His background includes cost control, planning, contracts management, budget estimates and planning (CAPEX, OPEX) and tax studies. He has a wide experience in iron ore, copper, nickel, gold, aluminum and alumina projects developed in Brazil by medium and large-sized mining companies. Before MVV, he already managed budget and costs performance in the implementation of several companies and also as consultant in the elaboration of cost estimates for feasibility studies. He joined MVV in 2012 as project controller and financial consultant (CAPEX, OPEX, economic model). He turned into budget and costs coordinator on July 2018.
