Mr. Lima is a Project Manager with over 18 years of experience in feasibility studies, project execution, commissioning and operations. He has extensive experience in iron ore, copper and gold projects implemented in Brazil, owned by major and mid-tier companies.

Mr. Lima started as process engineer at ECM (mining engineering house), moved to Vale during the implementation of Brucutu iron ore (2005-2006, Commissioning Leader) & Salobo (2007-2008, Contract’s manager), joining Mineracao Vale Verde (MVV) in 2008 acting as the Country Project Manager for Aura Minerals until Serrote Project was sold in Q1 of 2018.

From March 2018 acted as General Manager of MVV before becoming COO in 2022. Mr Lima speaks English fluently and his native Portuguese. He completed his MBA in Project Management at Fundação Getulio Vargas in Belo Horizonte, Mining Economy at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a Metallurgical Engineering degree at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte.
