Mr. Castellari is a mining executive with over 10 years of CEO experience across mining operations in Brazil and West Africa. He has more than 25 years of experience in the natural resources, industrial, infrastructure and energy sectors, with exposure to industrial operations in South and North America, Europe and Africa. As former CEO of Anglo American Iron Ore Brazil he set up the new management team, recovery implementation plan budget for the Minas Rio Iron Ore Project, the group’s largest capital project in history, an investment of US$8.3bn with more than 20,000 employees at peak of construction. Prior to this he was the CEO of Anglo American Phosphates and Niobium, rapidly turning around a US$850m revenue business. He speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian fluently. Paulo completed his MBA at the London Business School and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Escola de Administração de Empresas de Sao Paulo.
